SSIP Curriculum

The curriculum is divided according to the Singapore grade system into:

S1\S2

Grades 7-8

In the S1 and S2 grade courses, students will study foundational subjects under the Singaporean education system's blend of Eastern and Western educational philosophies. Through peer group learning, the curriculum aims to cultivate students' innovative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Students will gain a deep understanding of the importance of balancing physical activity and leisure in their lifestyles.

S3\S4

Grades 9-10

The curriculum for grades S3 and S4 focuses on advanced courses within the Singapore education system, emphasizing the development of independent learning skills. It also aims to enhance students' holistic qualities in humanities, arts, and social sciences through survival skills training, preparing them for higher education and career planning.

Science & Maths

Lower Grades: Mathematics, Science, Design & Technology
Upper Grades: Mathematics, Science subjects
Electives: Advanced Mathematics, Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Combined Science, Accounting, Design & Technology, Food & Nutrition

Humanities & Arts

Lower Grades: Geography, History, Visual Arts, Music
Upper Grades: Integrated Humanities
Electives: Geography, History, English Literature, Chinese Literature, Art Critique, Advanced Music

Creative Design

Upper Grades: Creative Arts, New Media Fashion, Animation, Interior Design

Living Skills

CCA (Co-Curricular Activities), PE (Physical Education), PCCG (Counseling & Career Guidance), CIP (Community Involvement Program)

CCA Activities include:
1.Sports and Games: Basketball, Soccer, Golf, Tennis, Swimming, Kayaking, etc.
2.Uniformed Groups: Community service, outdoor team-building, camp-based collective training, etc.
3.Performing Arts Group: Creative art courses, piano, violin, dance, theater, orchestra, choir, etc.
4.Clubs and Societies: Simulation of financial business, moot court, traditional culture, tea ceremony, book clubs, astronomy clubs, etc.
