Singapore boasts a prestigious public higher education system, including seven world-class public universities, five polytechnics, and junior colleges.
Public Universities include: National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Management University (SMU), Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS), and Singapore University of the Arts (UAS, comprising LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts).
Polytechnics: Temasek Polytechnic (TP), Singapore Polytechnic (SP), Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Republic Polytechnic (RP).
Junior Colleges: Raffles Junior College, Hwa Chong Junior College, Victoria Junior College, National Junior College, Temasek Junior College, Anglo-Chinese Junior College, etc.
SSIP graduates will take the Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'O' Level examinations conducted by the Singapore Ministry of Education and enter local pathways to junior colleges, polytechnics, and other institutions within Singapore's education system.
Students may also progress directly to university through SSIP's bridging courses, including direct admission to the Singapore University of the Arts (UAS), government polytechnics, and junior colleges.
Upon graduation, students have the option to enroll in the Singapore campuses of world-class universities through joint degree programs. Alternatively, students may choose to pursue their university education directly in the UK, Australia, or the United States.
